Compare Homes Beyond the Asking Price

Two homes with similar asking prices can fit your life very differently. Before choosing a favorite, compare the details that matter to you using the same checklist for every property.

Start with your daily routine

Think about the layout, storage, work space, parking, outdoor space, and travel patterns you want. Separate must-haves from preferences. A beautiful room may not solve a layout that does not work for you.

Record questions about condition

During a tour, note visible maintenance concerns and ask about the age and condition of major systems. A showing is a chance to gather questions; use qualified inspection professionals for a closer assessment when appropriate.

Compare ongoing costs and restrictions

Ask for the available information about taxes, insurance, utilities, association dues, and property restrictions. Have the relevant professionals explain estimates and documents so you can compare each home on a consistent basis.

Use a simple shortlist

For each home, write down three strengths, three concerns, and the information still needed. Save the listing on this website and send me your questions. We can verify listing status and organize the next step together.
